WHERE CAN I FIND ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS?
You can find the assembly instructions under the given product. The quickest way to find a product is to enter the product number, in the search field in the top right corner. Assembly instructions are available under the 'manuals' product tab. If the product is no longer being sold, you can find the assembly instructions in the image bank.
HOW DO I ASSEMBLE MY FURNITURE ITEM?
The package for your item contains assembly instructions which you can follow step-by-step. If you encounter any problems, you can find answers to the most common assembly issues on this site. If the box does not contain the assembly instructions, you can find them under the product view for the item..
THE DOOR IS NOT PERFECTLY STRAIGHT, HOW DO I FIX IT?
The problem of crooked doors may be due to the furniture being assembled slightly out of alignment. You can fix this by taking off the rear panel, lying the furniture down with perpendicular corners, and nailing the rear panel on again. There may be a simpler solution, as the brackets holding the doors can be adjusted.

HOW DO I ASSEMBLE MY HEIGHT-ADJUSTABLE DESK?
It is important that you follow the assembly instructions precisely. Due to the child safety feature, many of our height-adjustable desks will only react after a delay of 5-10 seconds – so try holding the button in for longer.
MY FURNITURE ITEM LEANS TO ONE SIDE – WHAT IS WRONG?
Your piece of furniture must be perpendicular before you nail on the rear panel. Remove the panel, ensure the cupboard is perpendicular, and then nail the panel back on. It is important that the furniture is lying down while you affix the rear panel.

DOES TVILUM MAKE FURNITURE FOR OTHERS?
Yes. We produce furniture in our own name, as well as for other Danish and international companies which sell ready-to-assemble furniture in flat cardboard boxes. We have 20 people employed in product development who are responsible for developing our own brand, and collaborating with the companies we produce furniture for.
CAN I ORDER MY PRODUCTS IN SPECIAL COLOURS?
As a rule, this is not possible. Tvilum uses large-scale production in order to maintain competitive price levels.
CAN I PLACE A BOX MATTRESS OR AN ELEVATION BASE IN ONE OF THE BED FRAMES?
Although it is physically possible to place a box mattress or an elevation base in our bed frames, we do not recommend that you do this, as our bed frames are not safety approved for this type of mattress.
HOW DO I ORDER SPARE PARTS AND MISSING PARTS?
Contact the dealer from whom you purchased your product.
CAN I RETURN MY FURNITURE AND GET A REFUND?
That depends on the agreement you have with the dealer where you purchased your furniture.
IS MY PRODUCT COVERED BY A WARRANTY?
Tvilum is a B2B company which does not sell directly to end customers, so any product warranty will depend on the agreement conditions between the dealer and customer. Tvilum naturally complies with any applicable legislation.
DOES TVILUM PRODUCE ALL THE COMPONENTS OF THE FURNITURE?
No, we purchase some items (such as chipboard, film and brackets) from other suppliers who fulfil our stringent requirements. A few of our products, such as chairs and light fixtures, are produced as finished goods by others.
